I feel like I really broke new ground on this photo shoot! I got together again with Wendhy of Wendhy Jeffers Photography, and we scouted Floyd Lamb park for some good spots. We were so lucky to have darling Brynley for our model. What a sweetheart she was! Wendhy had such neat props and head pieces for her to try.
The very first spot we tried was in the street, with Brynley standing in front of some Oleander bushes. It was an awesome choice by Wendhy. I LOVE shooting with friends who see things I don’t, because I never thought to try shooting near those bushes. Yet, when I took a test shot and checked my screen to see the results, I was amazed and excited to see tremendous bokeh from the trees! By using my 85 1.8 lens, and shooting at a 2.0 aperture, the trees transformed into a swirly blend of beauty. It was a perfect backdrop for Brynley, and it felt great to have discovered new growth on my photo journey:) Now, whenever I’m driving and I see Oleandar bushes, I tip my hat to them. Thank you, nature, and thank you, sweet little girl, for your innocence and beauty!
