Writing thoughts-Las Vegas Senior Photographer

May 15, 2019 Erin Hatch

Last year, I discovered a new passion; writing. I had a small blank journal in my purse. One day when I was relishing alone time at the library, I pulled out that journal and began to write. I wrote my rambling thoughts about creativity, plants, the world and such, and I fell in love with writing.

Since then, I’ve tried to learn and practice, reading tons, and being inspired by amazing artist. I feel so inadequate in being a writer but I also know that we all start somewhere with our hobbies. I think I will start another blog series topic for my little online world here, simply sharing my writing thoughts. I hope you enjoy it. May it inspire you to be brave and branch out to try new things. It’s an exciting world out there, with loads of arts to choose from and things to bring you joy. Go for it!

Write every day. Be authentic, real and alive. Open your heart.

Uplift others. Embrace beauty. Seek forgiveness and be gentle to your soul.

Begin each day with hope and wonder. Give freely. Smile often. Laugh more.

Make a conscious effort to be aware of God’s gifts around you. Breathe them in. Hold them in your heart. Give thanks. Pick yourself up from the rough falls. Learn and grow.

Look for the light constantly through the dark. It is there to illuminate your path brightly, to guide you to the eternal source of peace and love. This is life. This time is our gift. Use it well.
